We start at the front of the Stanford Quad, nearby is the
Memorial Court with the Rodin statues of citizens of Calais. Then we
walk in and around the spiffy new Computing & Data Science (CoDa) building
then past CoDa room #208 to see the glass cage where they keep Knuth;
around level 2 of CoDa — shiny student offices and commons areas;
around basement level, Garden Cafe and over to Gates.
hike all levels of Gates starting with the basement computer room (Mordor)
(Arron+Frost+Gerth) will point out half a rack of noisy Nvidia bricks doing A.I.
1st floor HAI (Human-Centered AI)
2nd floor the A.I. Lab cubicles and commons + Khatib’s Robotics Lab.
3rd floor past Chris Manning's newest office #372 ( omit 4th floor )
