SLiTeX is a version of the LaTeX program used to produce slides and
transparencies for presentations.

To run SLiTeX on the file named foo.tex type:

    r slitex;foo

This produces an output file named foo.dvi . You will be left with a
command like the following in your line editor:

    r DVIdover;FOO.DVI

At present you can only print SLiTeX output on the Imagen, or view it
with DVIDD. So you should edit your command to one of the following
before typing <return>:

r DVIesp;FOO.DVI for ESP (3rd floor MJH Imagen, near lounge)
r DVIdd;FOO.DVI/m for DVIDD (to view output on DD screen)

Note that you should use the "/M" switch in DVIDD to override its default
magnification. (Otherwise it will come out looking very large, and may
not have some necessary fonts.)

To report bugs in SLiTeX, use the monitor command GRIPE SLiTeX or mail to
BUG-SLiTeX.

The LaTeX manual, by Leslie Lamport (published by Addison-Wesley) is
available in the Stanford bookstore and many other bookstores. Please
consult it for documentation of SLiTeX.
