\JIn going over my files today, I came accross a letter from you, dated 
September 24, asking about SAIL reports.  I cannot find any record
of a reply, so I assume your letter must have gotten lost in the
shuffle when I moved my office around then.  In any event, I apologise
for the delay in answering you.

Unfortunately,
our supply of "distribution" manuals is rather depleted right now.  However,
SAIL manuals may be obtained (at a charge of $2.50 a copy) from:\.

\JI'm including a copy of our "incremental" manual, which documents changes
to the language since the last publication of the regular manual, together
with a new document describing BAIL, a source-level interactive debugger for
SAIL programs.  Other documentation available includes a description of
a set of runtime routines especially for TENEX systems, and a tutorial
manual which is currently being rewritten.  If you want either of these,
write to me, and I'll get them for you when they become available.

We have just finished preparing a new export release for SAIL, which we plan
to ship off to DECUS sometime in January.  If you are interested in acquiring
a copy, you can get one from them at that time, or you can send me a tape
and I'll send a fresh system back to you, together with instructions for
installation.\.
