COPY is a file manipulation program.
There are several monitor commands that run COPY, which include:

COPY    <destination>←<source>		moves a file
DELETE	<source>			deletes a file
DIRECTORY				types the file directory
RENAME	<destination>←<source>		renames a file or changes protection
TRANSFER<destination>←<source>		copies and deletes the original
TYPE	<source>			types a file on the user's terminal
